Kids aged 5-11 will be able to get the second dose of their COVID-19 shot at a few schools across the city Tuesday.
P.S. 67 in Fort Greene is one of three locations across the city that will be turned into a vaccination site. The other locations include P.S. 40 and P.S. 124 in Manhattan.
The goal is to get kids fully vaccinated as the omicron variant becomes a growing a concern.
There have been no confirmed cases of the new strand in the city yet, but officials expect its arrival will be inevitable.
Officials are advising people to also get the booster shot.
The New York Times reports that Pfizer is expected to apply for FDA approval within a week for 16- and 17-year-old kids to get the third shot.
